2016 Trips to Detroit!
We have two youth group mission trips scheduled in Detroit for the Summer of 2016!
The city of Detroit is a bustling city filled with many hurting people. A very difficult and widespread bankruptcy attacked this city when the auto industry moved out, causing Detroit to decay. People began to lose hope.
This city used to be one of the most thriving, vibrant cities in the country; but is now broken and lost.
We partner with ministries in Detroit who are deeply invested in growing and improving this beloved city. You’ll join our ministry partner in:
- Youth/Kids Ministry: working with inner city youth and kids, which includes running a VBS program.
- Manual Labor: There’s a possibility for light construction projects.
- Community Outreach: As you live and serve in this community, you’ll take part in reaching this community for Christ, whether that’s in conversations, prayer walks, or organized events.
Your team will restore hope through delivering the good news of the Gospel. The Lord will open up opportunities to to pray with people, share your faith, and meet many felt needs.
You can bring the power of prayer and hope to meet the needs of the people of Detroit.
